Selfie mode in apps doesn’t work

After an iOS update about 3 months ago I realized I couldn’t FaceTime anymore. When my call was answered or I answered a call it just cut off. And then I noticed that in Snapchat, Instagram, WhatsApp, and every other app the selfie camera mode didn’t work. Then I went to the original camera app and there it worked. The other camera mode worked in all apps. I updated the phone again and nothing. I completely factory reset it, still nothing. I factory reset it with my Mac but that didn’t help either.
