Is there any way to find out what website the data leak was from when getting this on my iphone settings?
I want to find the culprit for me now having to change my password used on 59 other sites

No, the problem is not with Apple. Apple is simply the messenger, telling you that a password (or passwords) that you have used have been found in published lists of passwords that have been stolen from various online sites. There are databases that are built by cybersecurity companies going to the dark web and seeing what stolen information is offered for sale by various criminal enterprises. Google offers a similar feature in Chrome, and the site https://haveibeenpwned.com can also tell you if a password that you use has been found in login information stolen from other sites.
If you want to learn about the hundreds of sites that have been hacked (many of which you probably use) Brian Krebs reports on the latest ones: https://krebsonsecurity.com. Some of the largest include Equifax, Marriott Hotels, the US Government’s personnel management agency, and many chain restaurants. And the most recent is almost all sites worldwide that use Microsoft Exchange.
I contacted apple support a couple days ago, they told me it doesn’t mean we are breached they just want you to change the password.
Agreed, it should be worded differently but from what the apple employee told me, the notification doesn’t mean you’ve been breached, they are just suggesting a stronger password.
??? Either your login data appeared in a data leak or not !!! If Apple says it did so, then I assume they are telling the truth.
There are warnings for bad passwords and statements that one’s been breached.
Correct, because the conclusion I draw is that if they say it has been breached and no other website says it has then Apple themselves have probably been responsible for the breach.

The other public websites may be inaccurate. I’d rather go the conservative route and not use it if it reported by Apple. No one knows where any of the sites are getting their information.

Apple simply has likely access to other data-leak info than others.

It makes sense if you are changing it to another password that has been compromised. Are you sure that the warning is for a password that you changed?
Yes I am it is getting very concerning- I did a restore on iPad and noted in FB again it states my IPad is active 90 kms away - getting very concern about what is going on.
