Wallet says card is in wallet - wallet is empty and if I try to add again it says in wallet

I have a nee card and want to replace my card stored in my wallet. I added the details as per the instructions and the last screen hung. I went off and on it said card not added - when I tried to add again its says card in wallet but there is nothing. Any advice?
