Mac Pro how to pan audio from built-in output?

Hi I am using my built-in analog audio output of my Mac Pro. I want to pan the audio left or right. Is there a way to do this? Or an application that will do it? I don't want Logic or any significant piece of software. I want something simple. Pan left or right the built-in audio output. Thanks, Dean
