I can’t connect to WiFi on my MacBook but my iPhone connects to it

I can’t connect to WiFi using my MacBook. My iPhone connects to the network fine.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

First of all, backup your personal data to an external drive.


Now create a bootable USB installer https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201372

Boot to the installer by turning on the Mac holding Option key and selecting the USB installer. You'll boot into the Recovery Mode.

Wipe de disk completely https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208496

Reinstall macOS https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904 (skip step 1 because you're already in that mode after booting from the USB installer).


Make a clean install and see if your wi-fi comes back

Allow macOS to update itself to the max, then install your apps and copy back your data.

Try Resetting SMC and NVRAM

Boot in Safe Mode - turn on your Mac and immediately hold Shift


Also reset your wi-fi connection

Go to Sys Prefs > Network and remove the wi-fi on the left panel by selecting it and clicking minus button.

Reboot

Back in Sys Prefs, add back the module bi clicking plus button.


Check it any of that helps.
