Why does the video of the incoming caller on face time go green and pixelated?

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. We’re glad you decided to reach out about accepting FaceTime calls on your iPhone. If we understand correctly, when you receive an incoming FaceTime call it comes in pixelated like you’ve shown us here.
Are you still experiencing this issue? If you are, is it happening with all FaceTime calls or only from one caller? If it only happens with one caller it may be an issue with their network connection. If it happens with everyone, try the steps outlined here:
