Phone restore issues

I restored my phone and none of my pics downloaded back onto my phone. It looks like it’s done downloading but does it take awhile?

What are you restoring your iPhone from? Are you using a backup file on a computer or are you restoring from an iCloud backup?

If you are restoring from an iCloud backup then ensure that Photos under iCloud is set to ON. Open Settings ➔ Apple iD (At the top) ➔ iCloud ➔ Photos : Set this to ON.

It can take a while to download all the photos that you may have saved on iCloud and it is dependent upon the total number and total size.
