I have a lot of music CD’s which I’d like to load onto my iPad, and wondered if it was possible to do this? I do have an iMac i can access, although I don’t know how to use that either!
if it’s possible I’ll need instruction a small child will understand! Thanks in advance

ive got an Apple disk drive, but the Mac doesn’t seem to recognise it, and the CDs won’t go in. I shouldn’t be allowed near tech!

As described, you either have a problem with the Optical Drive - or your Mac. Until resolved, or a working computer is found, you’ll not have the means with which to copy CD music (via iTunes) to your iPad.
You’ll need to use the Apple iTunes Application on your PC/Mac to first copy the CD to your Music Library - and then transfer the Music to your iPad.
