What happened to date on faces for Apple Watch

Hello

I just completed the latest update on both iPhone and Apple Watch. I have the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Apple Watch Series 4. What I noticed was the date does not appear anymore on my face for the watch. I restarted both devices looked at other faces and it appears that the date is not available on most or all of the faces in the gallery. Am I doing something wrong? Did Apple forget to add the date option when customizing your face?
