Using Apple pencil with Google Slides

This is an answer to the question about using an apple pencil with google slides. Just create your slides, upload to Notability, and annotate away. There is an option in Notability to upload from Google Drive. You can also present to Google Meet at the same time (this is how I do my math classes).

However, I cannot find "Drawings" in Insert entry (menu that appears when tap on "+"). I also checked all other menu entries and unable to find this Insert -> Drawings entry. So where is this Insert -> Drawing function in the Google Docs?

Wanting to purchase an iPad and apple pencil For work I have to annotate pdf documents, which often requires me to use a separate program to digitally draw supplementary images on my laptop. If I was to purchase an iPad and apple pencil, would I be able to annotate pdf documents with the apple pencil, and could I add in blank pages? and if I do annotate a document, if I send this to a computer user, or a non-mac user, will they be able to read the annotations?
