If I had an old account that I can no longer access the old email account it was associated with, what can I do to retrieve that music I had bought under that account?

Old IPod and email 10 + years ago, I had an iPod and downloaded iTunes music for the iPod. I had a desktop computer then as well. At the time, I also had an AOL email address. I would occasionally use the iPod to listen to some old music downloads. Now for the problem.... in the years after, I switched over to iPhone for all my music and have a current Apple ID and Gmail which I use. I lost my iPod, desktop is long gone, and AOL email is history as well. How can I find the purchased music on my iPod that is connected to an old AOL email and Apple password.

Old iTunes account I downloaded thousands of songs and pictures to my iPod in about 2007 (I think). That iPod worked great until I exposed it to an magnet a couple years ago and the spring released making the iPod into toast. All my music was organized into folders and I miss my music so much! How can I get back into my iTunes account when A) I don’t have the same laptop I created the account on, and B) I can’t remember the email I used at the time. I DO still have the same phone number though. Any suggestions will be appreciated! Dont know if it matters but I use Apple now— I was an Android user back then.

Recovering old iTunes account/purchases I am trying to recover my original iTunes account/old purchases from my very first IPhone… I don’t know my original Apple ID (whoever created it for me input the info incorrectly, therefore it’s not a standard email address) or my password associated with the account. How do I recover the music that was on it. Am I able to retrieve it myself or do I need to contact IT? HELP!

Risque,

Go to appleid.apple.com and update the account to the new email address. Once you can access the account, download your music per these steps:

Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support
