Apple Watch not connecting to server

I’m trying to pair a new Apple Watch and it ask me for my Apple ID password. When I enter it, it tells me I can’t connect to the server. Help?

Are you seeing that the Apple ID is being requested to pair the Apple Watch to the iPhone or is this showing through the set up process for your Apple Watch?

To confirm, is this a new Apple Watch or was it purchased secondhand?


If you're seeing that this is appearing throughout the set up of your Apple Watch on your iPhone, we'd recommend trying a different Wi-Fi network to see if this resolves what you're seeing.
