Admin

My macbook doesn’t have an admin account anymore because I was trying to change the name. I tried the whole command s thing but it won’t work. I think it’s because I have the filevault on. Please help

Lost Admin Account on OS High Sierra I tried to update my Admin name on my OS High Sierra and have now lost my admin user account. The original account was changed to Standard and I now have no Admin account at all. I do have FileVault turned on and am very concerned about loosing all my files. Please help.

Please describe what did not work, because FileVault does not preclude the ability to use Single User Mode: Start up your Mac in single-user mode - Apple Support.

A Firmware Password will though: What is a firmware password on Mac? - Apple Support.
