how do I add my daughters phone under my device is she has her own Apple ID?

I need to add the iPhone I bought my kid to my list of devices but they have their own Apple ID. How can I get this phone connected to me without having to sign in with my Apple ID on their device?

You can't add it to your list of devices if she is using a different Apple ID. Have you tried setting up Family Sharing to see if that does what you want?
