My younger brother was setting up his iphone and it is asking for a passcode, the one he remembers putting in doesn't work. Is there any way of wiping the phone and setting it up again without unlocking it? It is disabled and we can't get in, I currently have it in recovery mode.

Finish the recovery mode and then set the phone up as new.
How do I remove a passcode on a phone when setting it up?
