Unable to purchase on Pokemon Go

I don’t recall where I saw this, but it works for me. Sign out of your Apple account in the App Store (press your profile picture in Today, scroll all the way to the bottom to find the Sign Out link). Log back in to Pokémon Go and you should be able to purchase again. Not great, but it’s the only thing I’ve found that works, short of logging into Pokémon on a different device.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Sounds like you're trying to make an in-app purchase while playing Pokemon Go but you're unable to get that done. We'd like to help.

What happens when you try to Download apps and games from the App Store? Are you receiving any error messages when you try to make that purchase? If so, what does it say? Are you running the most updated iOS on your device? You can check by going to Settings > General > About.

If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or other Apple device, changing your network, pausing and restarting the app download, and restarting your device can help.

I have the same issue. I can make purchases in any other app, can download new apps, but cannot make purchases in PokemonGO, It has the blue spinning circle that continues to spin no matter how long I let it sit.

I have the same issue as well. I am able to make purchases on my other downloaded Apps on iPhone but not Pokemon Go. This issue occurred right after I upgraded to IOS14. I have tried rebooting the phone, deleting and re-installing Pokemon Go, rebooting the phone again, logged out and logged back in with my Apple ID. The issue still exists.

Note that I was able to make purchases in Pokemon Go from an Android Phone and have been doing so since.
