Family Sharing set-up

I have 2 apple ID's. One for me and one that is iTunes purchasing. My kids have their own ID and use my purchasing ID. If I switch to family sharing should they switch their iTunes purchasing to their unique Apple ID? Will this affect the current content on their phone?

family sharing Hi when my partner got a phone, it was originally set up on the family apple id so he could access apps and itunes. After getting to much information shared such as contacts, it was set up with his own apple id but then still signed in on the family id for media and purchases. Now we want to purchase apple music. Would it be better to sign his device out of the family id and set up family sharing so he could access apps and music and keep everything set up or is it best to keep it as is? Configuring purchase sharing to access members personal purchases Everyone in our family sharing is sharing one apple ID for purchase sharing (itunes and app store). Despite this, one member has continued purchasing using their own apple ID instead and therefore they aren't being shared with the rest of us. If I change the apple ID they have on itunes and app store to the family sharing ID will the subscriptions and such they have purchased transfer or will they be lost? Or is there any possible way to move those subscriptions off their personal Apple ID onto family sharing?

Under Family Sharing, they use their ID for the App Store/iTunes. It shouldn't affect the content on the phone.
