Loading circle next to Wi-Fi

Since the new iOS 14 update my iPhone SE G2, constantly has a loading circle indicated next to my Wi-Fi symbol. I turned off background refresh on apps and I turned off location services. The only time the symbol is not on is when I have Wi-Fi and cellular data turned off or in airplane mode.

Hello Mu5il0v3r,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! We understand you're having issues with your iPhone constantly showing bnetwork activity; let's look into this more.

The following support article provides some troubleshooting steps to try for this behavior-

The first thing to check is that your iPhone is up to date. As of this writing, the current version of iOS is 14.0.1:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Next, try restarting your iPhone:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If you still have issues you can eliminate the app but turning off background app refresh one app at a time:

Switch apps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Specifically, check out the section labeled "Use Background App Refresh"

Hope this helps.

Best Regards.
