You're right! It's not in the main applestore website, but it is in my local Mac shop's website. The consultants there recommended it. So I assumed it was approved by Apple. My mistake.

Where do you see them sold by Apple online? I'm looking at https://www.apple.com/shop/mac/mac-accessories and didn't find them.

But Apple sells Moshi 0.1 mm keyboard protectors for the Air in their shops and online. So presumably they are safe?
