Activation lock when you buy a second hand phone
Just purchased a iPhone 11 from a “friend” that happens to be activation locked so I can’t set it up as my phone.
how do I fix this?
Ask the seller to remove the lock or give you a refund. It's an anti-theft measure; Apple generally doesn't unlock secondhand devices.
