Additional RAM for iMac 27 (2019)?

I am finally ready to upgrade my RAM on the iMac (27" 2019) and from what I read at the Apple support pages and online, I need 2666Mhz DDR4 modules, but when I do the "About this Mac" my comuter says 2667mhz. Is that a typo?!? No where can I find a webpage that agrees with that.

Thanks for your advice.

An artifact of display rounding, versus display truncation.

The underlying 2666.6666666666666666666666.... MHz rating rounds to 2667, and truncates to 2666.

2666, 2666.6..., 2666 and 2/3, 2667? Same stuff.

That’ll will work / is the same.

As otherwise written, there are four slots for 260-pin PC4-21333 (2666 MHz) DDR4 SO-DIMM memory.
