AppleID Login Hanging

I am having issues with the accountsd daemon running amok. I read online to log out of your AppleID under system preferences. When I went to do so, it said there was something wrong with my AppleID and I needed to login to access everything. I tried, but it didn't respond to my login.

I logged out, restarted my computer and now it hangs on the login doing nothing. The accountsd daemon appeared in task manager as soon as I started to login. I also can't close System Preferences because it says: "System Preferences is busy and can’t be closed." Signing in to Apple ID...

I'm on Catalina 10.15.6.
