The cooling fan is always running. What could be the reason of non-stop cooling fan?

The cooling fan of Macbook Pro 16 is running continuously. What could be the reason of non-stop running cooling fan?

Thanks.

By design, sans are on all the time. At default speeds they are usually only audible in a VERY quiet space. The article linked show how the fans are sped up by heat demands.

⚠️ Carefully note the information about device usage and not blocking critical cooling air vents. Any occluded air vent, intake or exhaust, will cause higher temps that increase fan speeds. Note this part:

The surface your device rests on can block its vents, affecting fan behavior. If you use your device on a soft surface like a couch, pillow, bed, or your lap, its fans might run more. Using your device on a hard, flat surface like a table or desk is best for temperature control.

Find at the bottom of the article a link about resetting the System Management Controller. If the computer can breathe, and you are not running useless anti-virus and so-called "cleaning/tune-up" apps or demanding games/sims, the SMC reset is the next step.
