iMac software downloads
My iMac has suddenly stopped downloading anything from the internet.
It's a 2019 iMac running Catalina 10.15.6, purchased recently, and I'm using Chrome as my browser. I am trying to download a copy of Photoshop Elements 2020 which I just purchased online, because I got a message saying that my Photoshop 2015 software isn't compatible with this system.
However when I try to download Photoshop 2020, nothing happens. I've checked the download folder and done a search for it.
So I went back to trying to uninstall photoshop 2015, but nothing happens when I click on the uninstaller. Searching for solutions, the Adobe website told me to download a copy of Adobe Application Manager. I did a search on my iMac and found a copy of this already in my applications utility folder, but when I try to open it, I get an error message stating that it's a 32-bit app and I can't use it on this new iMac.
So I tried to download a NEW copy of Adobe Manager, but it won't download either.
I CAN download photos in my email, and an xls file from our website.
I checked online for reasons why this may be happening, and one suggestion was to check my storage, but I have 138 GB of 251 GB available, so it's not that.
I need to use Photoshop for work today, and I'm beyond frustration. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? Many thanks.
