I've used Mail as my mail client for 18 years for all email - work and personal. I'm told I'll soon need to use Outlook as my mail client for work email, since is the "only supported client that will work with Extra Verification requirements." Is there a way to get "Extra Verification" via Mail so I might still be able to use it?

Hey there! Sorry for the troubles, I know it’s hard switching mail programs/interfaces from what you’re used to.
I’d say if that’s the case, to have the IT people of your work contact Apple, to make the necessary changes and meet the necessary requirements to work with Apple Mail.
