connect to itunes

I forget my passcode and the iPhone has been locked and is showing connect to iTunes and its not connecting

Are you following these instructions?

If you forgot the passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

If you are, and iTunes doesn’t see your phone, look here for help.

If your computer doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
