Transferring data from old iphone8 to new iphone11 - transferred data but stupidly forgot to add the new sim card.

Now new phone is showing as iphone 8 instead of iphone 11.

If I erase all content and settings from iphone 11 to start process correctly will that erase all my data from iphone 8? Bit nervous as it states all media, data and settings will be erased. This cannot be undone....

Where is it showing “iPhone 8”? Go to Settings/General/About and look at the phone’s name. You can edit it, and make it anything you want. I changed mine to "Ada Lovelace"
