Update All Apps not working after iOS 14 upgrade

After iOS 14 upgrade it is not possible to use the Update All Apps in the App Store.

It keeps prompting for Apple ID for each app that needs an update.

This is irritating & time consuming and seems to be a bug in iOS 14.

Any resolution pl advise.

Cheers

iPhone XR, iOS 14

after more digging. I found that in settings>screen time>Content & privacy restrictions>iTunes and App Store purchases you have to have ""in-app Purchases set to "Allow" (I have them turned off so my kids don't accidentally rack up a bunch of purchases in apps.) So far I find ISO 14 to be a terrible "update".. more like a downgrade

How is it solved? - Thank you for the information but that suggestion just removes the requirement to enter a password which is for security. The problem is, still even with update to 14.3, you select “update all” and instead of entering password one time for “all” updates the ‘enter password’ box comes up over & over for as many updates as in your list. Sometimes there are 20+ updates. Then 10 more a day later.

Has anyone figured out how to fix it so it requires password to be entered only once when selecting “update all?”

Thank you for information but mine was always set to “allow” and it still does not work right or as it once did, even after 14.3 update. I still need to enter password for every individual app update. But I’m glad you found a way to make it work for you (though I agree, it should work with the security features you select). Good luck!
