getting my phone number on my new phone

I transferred my info. from the 6plus to my new iPhone 11 and I think I see everything except I don't have a phone number.

I have contacts, etc. but can't make calls, don't see a have data, and when I text it is only through wifi access and an address pops up with the person receiving the text.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

You actually have three options:

  1. Move the SIM from your old phone to your new phone - you don’t need to contact your carrier to do this
  2. Call your carrier and get them to send you a new SIM - Remove or switch the SIM card in your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  3. Call your carrier and ask them to activate the eSIM on your phone - Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support
