Lag when typing

It sounds like your iPhone's keyboard is responding slowly when typing. We'd love to help get this issue sorted out.

1. Does this issue only happen when typing in specific apps? If so, which apps are affected?

I have this issue too ever since i've updated to ios 14 on my iphone xr. At first i thought it might've been my 2 year old phone at fault , but after changing to iphone 11pro recently, this problem still persists. So far i've only noticed this issue occurring on snapchat,instagram and messenger as these are the few social media apps i'm using. I'm also using the default iOS keyboard. The lag only happens when im typing chinese in pinyin . My current ios version is 4.1
