Magic Mouse 2 not working properly

I charged my mouse, bought a new trackpad, checked the settings and my mouse is not tracking at proper speed...it hesitates then moves..jumpy.

Mac mini, macOS 10.15

If your Apple wireless mouse, keyboard, or trackpad isn't working with your Mac as expected - Apple Support lists several troubleshooting steps, but with the symptoms you describe, I would try this one first:

  • "Turn the mouse over and inspect the sensor window. Use compressed air to gently clean the sensor window if dust or debris is present."
