When some one sent me a new contact, I saved it immediately. When I tried calling them their contact information was not there. When o added them again, I checked my contacts and still not saved. Anyone else has this problem?

So my sis (who also has an iPhone) sent a contact for me to save. I didn’t throughly my messages. Clicked on the save as new contact and then tried calling this person only to find that they weren’t saved under my contact list. I saved it again the same way and still the contact did not appear in my contact list. Decided to just make a new one and once I did it synced with the one I had already created and their pic came out with notes and everything. Anyone else has this happen when trying to save contacts from your messages.
