I have lost some contacts while upgrading to IOS14, Please advise me how to restore back only contacts from backup

You cannot only restore contacts when you restore from a backup!
Are you using iCloud Contacts? Are all your contacts (even the ones missing on your iPhone) available on iCloud, perhaps?
