My device does not offer an update

I want to install a more recent Ios by my device does not offer an update. What do i do?

If you have an iPhone 6, as indicated in your profile, that is why. The iPhone 6 will not support a newer iOS. The last iOS for the iPhone 6 was iOS 12.4.8.
