flex pitch is not working

Hello,

I am new to Logic Pro X so I am still testing waters with this software.

My problem is with the flex pitch function. I need to tweak the pitch of an vocal audio recording, however, every time I try to apply the flex pitch, nothing happens. I open the track, click "show flex", click flex pitch and then nothing. No pitch is detected whatsoever. I made sure to enable the flex mode both in the region and the specific track. I also tried to change the track from stereo to mono, I restarted the software numerous time, made new tracks to see if it will be any different but nothing works.

Please, if someone could help me I would appreciate it immensely.

What kind of audio material are you trying to apply Flex Pitch? It must be melodic and monophonic.

OK. Please post a screenshot of the Track Area.

Just to be sure. It is not a Track Stack or a Takes Folder?

Maybe too obvious: What happens when you scroll up and down in the editor?

Where this audio come from? Recorded in Logic?

No no it's not a track stack or takes folder, I made sure I did not make that mistake :)

here is the screenshot. This is how the track looks after I applied the flex pitch.

When I scroll up and down the piano on the left just moves through different keys.

And yes, the audio was recorded I Logic. I also tried to export in in different formats and import it again into the project, but it still did not work.

It is a simple monophonic audio. I made sure that I apply it to an audio with one melody and no harmony so that the pitch is clear but it still did not work, unfortunately.
