for some reason two of my apps (roblox and gacha life) seem to be appearing as a white icon with a grey grid. I’ve seen multiple posts about this issue, i tried everything and nothing worked for me. I would appreciate if someone could help me solve this issue because those were highly used apps I had and now they are unusable

Basically I removed the app, then restarted my phone and then when it turned back on again the app was there with a grid icon. So I didn’t even get a chance to reinstall it because it was already there when the phone turned on again

Force reboot your device (Force reboot device - Apple Support)
Then you didn’t delete the app. Go to Settings/General/iPhone Storage, find the app, tap it and delete it.
The other possibility is that the grid icon isn’t an app, it is a link to a web page that you added to your Home screen. Web links frequently don’t have icons.
Did you actually delete the app before restarting the phone, and you are saying the app was still there before your reinstalled it, or after you reinstalled it? If it was after the app is defective, and you need to contact the app provider.
It still appears to be a white icon with grey grid even after the force reboot.
Then delete the app, restart your phone, and add it back.
Just tried that and when the phone turned back on, the app was there and it had the white grid icon
