what is causing the green lights of the hr sensor on the back of my series 5 watch to stay on

The green lights on the back of your Apple Watch detects your pulse and your Apple Watch will periodically check your heart rate throughout the day. If you notice your Apple Watch always has these lights on I recommend restarting your device by holding the side button.
