Payments and Apple Cash

I have accrued money in my Apple Account, also known as my Apple ID account. I used it as my savings account on Apple until I had enough to buy a new iPad Pro.

I am not sure how I use the Apple account to get my 3% daily cash. I could go to my Apple ID settings on my iPhone and select "Payment & Shipping" which is currently set to "Apple Pay" but this would get me 2% not 3% according to Apple "Help".

Clicking on "Payment & Shipping" I am given a list of payment methods but my Apple Card is not there so I click "Edit" and choose "Apple Card". I now have four payment methods but Apple Account is on top of the list so that will be used first. That is where my savings are and the balance shown is correct. I do not know if I will receive 3% if I leave it like that. My Apple Account cannot be moved down the list by clicking on "Edit" although the other cards can be shuffled up and down underneath the Apple Account icon. I assume if the Apple Account balance is zero, one of the other cards can be set up as the default.

Is there a way to transfer the Apple Card balance to my Apple Card?
