I was in the middle of a setup to my new iPad.
I forgot the password and I can't completre the process.
Any idea how to reset the iPad so I can finally use it?

I don't know what else to suggest. If no other member has help for you, it might be time to make an appointment at the nearest Apple Store.

I've tried that and it still seems not to be working.
The restoring step doesn't end at all.
