I received a MacBook Pro already old!

Hello, I ordered two weeks ago a new MacBook Pro 16inch from the apple website. Today I received and, checking the specs I read "MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)". Should be 2020 right?!

The computer is also customised with more RAM, etc but I can't understand the year old.

I asked at the Chat support but they can't help on this, I scheduled a call. In the meantime, if someone know something more about it..

Thanks!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Nothing to understand as Apple unveiled their next-generation (new) 16-inch MacBook Pro on November 13, 2019. AFAIK there's been nothing to replace it in 2020. The specs are correct and in terms of warranty it's not a year old. Your warranty starts from the date mentioned on your invoice/receipt.

The thing that's confusing is why "Chat" support did not tell you the same thing?
