AirPods Pro

I tried to connect my AirPods Pro to my MacBook Air and it kept on telling me connection failed, I tried so many times it doesn't work! help

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.15

can Mac connect to other bluetooth devices?
do you see AirPods on the Mac?
Is there an alert or error?
did it work before?

if you see the AirPods on the Mac: "forget this device" > restart all devices, turn on bluetooth, start over
