IPad/Google
I have an Ipad Model MD531ll/a. I need to put Google Chrome and Dropbox on it. But I keep getting a message that it isn't compatible. Is there a way to make it compatible?

No. That model number correpsonds to a first generation iPad Mini which cannot be updated beyond iOS 9.3.5.
Dropbox requires iOS 11 or later.
Google Chrome requires iOS 12 or later.
Neither will work on that model of iPad.
