blank playlists on apple watch

Any ideas on why I have 179 blank playlists on my Apple Watch? They appear when I go into the music app-on iphone-playlists and when I go into the music app-library-playlists.

I’ve tried every solution going over googling the issue but nothing works. I only have one playlist synced from my iPhone on my watch and to make it easy I call this ‘Apple Watch’

I have ‘recent music’ toggled to off.

Any help would be appreciated.....

And if I try to remove these playlists the watch tells me to go to the watch app on my iPhone, go to settings, music app and sync library. This option isn’t there (I believe because I don’t subscribe to Apple Music)

This ABSOLUTELY worked. I tried for 2 months since purchasing the Apple Watch 6. Even the "Geniuses" at Apple couldn't figure this out. Very frustrating having 6 blank playlists AND others I DIDN'T sync keep showing up. It was a pain in the butt, took about 10 minutes, but so worth not having multiple "Extra" playlists on my Apple Watch 6.

Swipe Left>Tap 3 dots>choose Download> Then put watch on Charger for a few seconds. Then remove. Goto library, choose playlist>swipe left>Choose delete from Library. Also.....be sure to go into the App on your iPhone and delete it from the Que, otherwise the playlist Will Download for real when you charge the devices.
