I was using the IOS 14.2 beta for a while and I now want to return to IOS 14.0 because some of my apps have bugged out with it.
Would backups made in 14.2 be compatible with 14.0?

Unfortunately No, You cannot use a backup file from a higher iOS version to restore to a lower iOS version. In this case, iOS 14.2 BETA backup file cannot be used to restore to an iPhone running iOS version 14.0.

I’m currently using IOS 14.2 beta on my iPhone 11. I’m expecting to receive my new iPhone 12 running IOS 14.0.
My question is about restoring my phone running iOS 14.2 onto the new IPhone. Suggestions??
