Ordered my iphone 4 on the day of release from Vodafone (contract) and had the common dropped call issues, so went and bought an official Apple bumper. However, the bumper was purchased from a CarPhone Warehouse store NOT Apple as they were £5.00 cheaper in CPW. As you'd expect my local Apple store does not want to know about refunding me as they only refund on purchases from their own store (with receipt). CPW doesn't (at the moment) have anything to do with refunds for Apple products unless I'm returning it in unused condition, (which it is not). Does this mean I'm left holding the bill when I should really have a full refund of my £19.99 bumper expenditure? If so that leaves a rather bitter taste from the sugared pill delivered in the recent Apple press conference.
