Using 2 mics on GarageBand

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to use 2 mics on GarageBand and have done as much of the setting up as I could research (creating aggregate device, changing audio settings in GarageBand etc). The issue I'm having is not being able to hear each other through our headphones or the 2nd mic quality being poor. I'm using Blue Yeti Nano mics and have also enabled monitoring, added track header record and set each channel to mono.

If anyone could help with more info I would be most grateful.

Thanks

Thanks but still no luck. I can sometimes hear the other mic with monitoring turned on but mic one sounds poor, with a lot of reverb. I’ve turned off all reverb and echo settings without any joy. If I run headsets thru the mics each person can hear themselves but not each other. I have both mics set up as aggregate device for input and out put but nothing seems to work.

Hey there, IE_Podcast.

We understand that you're wanting to use two microphones with GarageBand, but you either cannot hear each other or the microphone quality isn't as good as you expect.
