Unable to remove app from iMac

After the latest mac update, Google Music Manager is no longer supported and I'm trying to remove it from my computer (because is causes my computer to hang at startup). But I've tried removing it from the Launchpad, but no "x" appears when I get the icons jiggling and when I try and drag it to the trach, it bounces back up where it was.

It doesn't appear in the Applications folder in Finder and I can't find any other references to it in any other folders in the Library folders.

I contacted Google, but they were no help and said try the Mac folks.

Any suggestions?
