Olivia from Apple Support Scam

How can we stop these scam calls on my 84 year old parents phone?

Yesterday she received 15 calls from 4-6pm and they are ALWAYS from that f%a#ing Olivia from Apple support.

i am concerned for my parents well being as they have dementia and this is so disconcerting.

thanks

I am reviewing another call from Olivia of Apple support as I am writing this. I am getting up to 15 of these calls per day. Olivia gives a supposedly toll free number of 315-232-*** as a call back number for Apple support for supposedly breach of an iCloud account. First of all, toll free numbers do not have geographic area codes. One guy did answer and asked if I was traveling, and could I access a computer. He can’t tell me what my name is, or any specifics about my iCloud account. He wants me to go to a computer and log into some URL. I ask him which account because I have multiple iPhones on my account. He can’t answer any of my questions, and finally hangs up. Oh, here comes another call and another recording from Olivia. I don’t like to set my iPhone on strictly contacts on my iPhone, or changing my number. Here comes another one from Olivia. That does it. I am setting my iPhone to contacts only.

I just spent 6 hours driving from a customer and received 8 calls from 'Olivia' during that time. Every one had my local area code and prefix but the last four digits were different. We all know by now that this skirts our ability to block these calls. But every one listed the same "toll-free" 315-232-****. Same as the previous reporter. Toll free numbers never start with this type of area code. Also, the last call showed up on caller ID as 'Quincy Spencer' with a site as iPhone. Very annoying. I went back through my phone and found 4 missed calls from yesterday that ignored and all were similar. Looking back through this list, it has been going on for awhile but seems to be rotating through the country. Contacts only from now on.

It’s really hard to “recognize and avoid phishing calls” when you’re getting 50 a day from “Olivia from Apple”. Apple must handle this one. I’m really sick of blocking and reporting these calls all day every day, hours of my time. I have set my phone to answer recognized numbers only, but my husband has ALS and many doctor/hospital calls are also blocked.

use the full power of Apple Inc to get this done.
