My husband accidentally deleted all the text messages I sent them. Is there a way I can air drop the messages from my iPhone to his? He has an X Max and I have an 11 Pro Max Both on the latest iOS.

Unfortunately those messages that were accidentally deleted are gone. They can only be retrieved if you do not use iCloud for Messages AND have a backup file of your husband's iPhone with those messages in it.
You cannot AirDrop Messages to another iPhone user. AirDrop is to exchange files such as Photos, Videos and documents etc.

No. It does not work that way. If you do not use iCloud for Messages and have a backup of your iPhone on iCloud then that backup file, as a whole, can be used to restore an iPhone. Backup file contains everything in it that the iPhone had. Texts are not separated or archived to be sent to iPhone users at will.

You could go message by message and forward them.
If I have my messages backed up to iCloud, could i somehow send it to his Apple ID?
