I'm using my iPadOS14.01 and I deleted the eBay app a while ago, because I got tired of being automatically redirected to their app when searching on eBay’s website.
How do I stop ebay from automatically redirecting me to their app?
It is extremely frustrating.

Just a quick update Guilin, I’ve found that by holding down the <enter> key, I was given the option of “open in background” and when I pressed the <enter> key again the search remained on the eBay website. Success!

Hi Giulio,
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried “Clear History and Website Data” in Settings>safari then restarted the iPad but when I searched on the eBay website it still switched me to the eBay app.

Try this:--> Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
When done, restart your iPad and test it.
